Meals on Wheels (Home Delivered Meals)
Meal Packing: Help prepare and package meals to be sent out for meal delivery. This assignment works out of our North Tempe location Monday – Friday from 8 – 9:30am.
Meal Delivery: Help deliver meals and conduct a wellness check for our older adult or disabled clients. This assignment works out of our North Tempe location Monday – Friday from 9:30 – 11:30am .
Volunteers are needed to package catered meals and/or deliver meals to the homes of home-bound older adults and adults with disabilities. Because of the deep connection and valued relationships that develop between meal carriers and participants of this program, a minimum six month volunteer commitment is expected. Meal carriers must also have a reliable car and present proof of Arizona Driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance. Mileage reimbursements are available.
North Tempe Multi-Generational Center - 1555 N Bridalwreath St, Tempe, AZ 85281
Kitchen is located on the southwest side of the building. First time volunteers are welcome to shadow a seasoned volunteer and are encouraged to attend the 8am meal packing shift to see the full process.

- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for 39 months
- Copy of current Driver’s license, Vehicle Registration, and Insurance
