The 2022 Holiday Season is here and what better time to consider gathering your friends, family, and work colleagues together to give back during this special time of year. Looking for ideas on how to get engaged and give back this holiday season?

Below are a few opportunities that will take place in November - January, that you or your company can get involved in.

TCAA's Giving Tree

Our annual Giving Tree program will launch this month, and this year, TCAA once again will offer gift cards to 700 adults, children, and seniors during the December holiday period which includes Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and others.

TCAA is raising the funds needed to purchase these gift cards and distribute them during a scheduled drive-through event in December, to make holidays more enjoyable no matter what religious holiday is honored.

The deadline for donating to TCAA for purchasing gift cards is December 5th.

Please consider making a donation towards this effort. Select the number of individuals you, your family, or your company would like to sponsor and make your contribution in increments of $25 per individual.

Holiday Lights

For about 2-3 hours on a Saturday in December, volunteers are needed to bring a little holiday cheer to home-bound and limited mobility older adults in Tempe. Volunteer groups will hang holiday lights on several homes belonging to clients of TCAA’s Senior Independence programs. In January, volunteers will return to remove and store the lights and decorations.
