Our holistic approach, an array of programs, and the sheer volume of people served make TCAA unique among other area nonprofits. TCAA operates the largest food pantry in Tempe, the city’s first community garden, the sole emergency shelter, is the sole provider of in-home care and specialized transportation services for seniors, and serves as the designated Community Action Program for Tempe.

Our programs served 38,000 adults and children in 2021 - equivalent to 1 in 7 Tempe residents We know it would be difficult to deliver our mission for more than 50 years without the help of local businesses. It is a collaborative effort in the community that inspires and motivates action.
