We’re excited to share that TCAA has once again received generous support from State Farm to help strengthen our Economic Mobility programs. This year’s grant has increased to $75,000, allowing us to continue reaching more Tempe residents who are working toward financial stability.
Last fiscal year, State Farm awarded TCAA $50,000 to support this work. Thanks to that funding, our Community Action Program served 710 households with services like financial coaching, employment support, crisis assistance, and long term resource planning. These efforts help families stabilize during difficult times and build a stronger foundation for the future.
With this year’s increased grant, we’ll be able to extend that support even further. The need in our community continues to grow, and this investment helps us meet families where they are and provide individualized assistance during moments of real uncertainty.
State Farm’s support goes beyond funding, too. In September, their team assembled and donated 1,000 heat relief kits to help protect our most vulnerable neighbors during extreme summer temperatures. These kits made a meaningful difference during one of the hottest times of the year.
We’re incredibly grateful for State Farm’s ongoing partnership. Their commitment across both years helps ensure that more Tempe families have access to the tools and opportunities they need to move toward long term stability. We’re proud to work alongside community partners who share our mission and our dedication to supporting local residents.
