Together, We're Building a Place of Hope
Every gift helps create a permanent home where seniors, families and individuals find food, shelter, and stability. Your support stays in our local community to take care of those in need.
The Challenge We're Facing
- For 60 years, Tempe Community Action Agency has been a lifeline for neighbors experiencing hunger, housing instability, and financial crisis. In recent years, demand for our services has grown dramatically—outpacing the limits of our current facilities.
- Families often need more than one service at a time. But today, those services are spread across multiple locations, creating barriers when people need help most.
We can do better—and together, we will!
A Vision of the Future: Building Hope
TCAA has launched a $17 million capital campaign to create a 23,000-square-foot permanent home for TCAA.
This new facility will allow us to serve more people, more efficiently, and with dignity by providing a centralized, welcoming hub where individuals and families can access comprehensive support in one place.
What Your Support Makes Possible
The new Jerry W. Brock Foundation Human Services Center will:
- Serve 40,000+ people annually, a 15% increase in reach
- Provide over 1 million meals each year through expanded food programs
- Offer 80 emergency and transitional shelter beds
- Create a trauma-informed, accessible space designed for long-term community impact
A Place Designed for Dignity and Impact
The new facility will include:
- A Larger Food Pantry
More space to meet the increasing need in our community - Emergency Shelter & Transitional Housing
Safe, dignified spaces for neighbors in crisis - Resource Navigation and Case Management
One-on-one support for housing, benefits, and financial stability
We're Building Momentum - And We Need You
Thanks to generous donors and partners, we have raised a significant portion of the $17 million goal. $2 million remains to bring this vision fully to life.
Now, we’re inviting the broader community to take part in this once-in-a-generation project.
Every gift—no matter the size—moves us closer to opening the doors.
