New Events and Volunteer Opportunities!

Hello,

While Hunger Action Month is over, hunger in our community is not. In fact, it continues to rise.

When we look at the number of households served by our Food Pantry in September 2024 and compare it to September 2025 we see a 32% increase.

The good news is our community continues to step up with food donations, volunteering and financial support.

Our September 27th food drive brought in over 2,000 pounds-literally a TON of food!

Thank you to our community!

Celebrating Value and Talent!

For over five years, we've proudly partnered with Pathway to Work to employ young adults living with disabilities.

October 2025 recognizes the 80th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). This annual recognition celebrates the positive impact of people with disabilities in the American workforce.

Partner Spotlight

In September, Omni Hotels across the state participated in Destination: Do Good. This initiative had their associates engage in local volunteer efforts to address community needs in their locations.

TCAA was lucky to be the recipient of 200 to-go food bags for our unsheltered neighbors. Dutch Bros. and Tempe Tourism was also partnered in this initiative.

We are grateful for this new partnership!

Welcome Quest High School

Recently the first group of students from Quest High School volunteered in our food pantry. They helped with everything from packing food boxes, assisting with grocery rescue, and working the window.

Thank you Quest High School, we appreciate this partnership!

Meet Linda! A Dedicated Volunteer

Linda started volunteering packing meals for our Meals on Wheels Program during COVID. Learn why she continues to volunteer and is now our Board Chair.

We are deeply grateful for all that Linda does for our community! Read more about Linda's volunteer experience here.
