Together we can make a difference
For 54 years, Tempe Community Action Agency has fostered stability and independence for economically disadvantaged families, children, seniors, and people experiencing homelessness through a variety of basic needs and empowerment services.
Tempe has one of the highest poverty rates in Maricopa County with one in six residents living at or below the federal poverty line (U.S. Census, 2019). In addition, one in five Tempe children under the age of 5 are living below the poverty level (more than 8,000 children), while over 50% of students in the Tempe Elementary School District qualifies for the Free or Reduced price Meal program due to their household income.
As an essential service provider, TCAA’s Food Pantry remains open and we are working around the clock to ensure that people in Tempe will have access to emergency food in their greatest time of need. Your donation will support our continued efforts to help feed the need Tempe.
