The need has grown tremendously. Last fiscal year alone, we made possible over 700,000 meals!

Omar is a full-time student determined to build a brighter future for himself and his siblings. But behind his dedication to school and work, Omar carried a heavy burden—food insecurity. With limited resources and younger siblings depending on him, Omar often skipped meals so that they could eat. His focus was always on making sure his family had enough, even if that meant going without himself. When Omar discovered TCAA’s Food Pantry, everything changed. The pantry provided more than food—it gave him relief, stability, and the reassurance that he wasn’t alone in this struggle. “I thought I had to do it all alone. But I didn’t,” Omar shared. With the support of TCAA, Omar could finally focus on his studies without the constant worry of hunger. He and his siblings had consistent meals, and Omar had the peace of mind to keep moving forward. Today, he is continuing his education while caring for his family, hopeful for the future he is building. |
RigaTony’s is a popular, family-owned Italian restaurant on McClintock and Warner in Tempe. While they are known for their delicious food and generous portions, at TCAA they are especially valued as an important food partner.
Every Monday, our Pantry staff stop by RigaTony’s to pick up their food donation. Sometimes it’s a canceled catering order that allows us to serve a hot meal to 40 adults in our I-HELP Shelter. Other times, it’s individual items that we share through our Food Pantry. We are deeply grateful for their partnership.
Thank you, RigaTony’s!
