This event was a huge success for TCAA! More than 160 diverse people attended the event, from students to retirees, all of whom learned about TCAA's work and goals.
The purpose of TCAA co-hosting this environmentally-themed festival was to raise awareness about the connections between food issues, social justice, and environmental sustainability. As TCAA looks to seek out healthier, fresher foods for our clients, the films in this festival highlighted why it is important for all members of our community to have access to healthy foods.
Some of the comments we received about this year's festival:
"It was not only entertaining and informative, but most of all inspirational."
"Thank you for keeping our minds going on new ideas and providing me with this wonderful opportunity!"
"The program and films were wonderful (especially the STRAW project!), and the people were great."
A special thanks to our sponsors:
